There is more work again. According to figures released recently by the analyst Alpha-liner, the total volume of idle container-ships with a capacity greater than 500 teu came to just 310,000 teu in the first nine months of the year. This corresponds to 1.6% of the cellular fleet, which means that the volume of idle capacity has now fallen to the lowest level since 2011. This is good news for shipowners, naturally enough.
