摘要

Waveform distortion caused by high power adjustable speed drives is considered in a probabilistic scenario. In a companion paper, two high computational efficiency drive models, one using the Line Commutated Inverter and the other the Pulse Width Modulated Inverter, have been proposed. These models are used inside a simulation procedure for the probabilistic analysis of waveform distortion on both the supply and motor sides of the two kinds of drives considered. The results obtained considering both mechanical and supply voltage variability are presented and commented.
