摘要

It is crucial for safe and stable operation of power systems that grasping systems' transient stability scenarios quickly and accurately. In this paper, the second-order nonuniform Kuramoto model frequency synchronization theory was introduced for analyzing power system transient stability. The correspondence between the classic power system model and second-order nonuniform Kuramoto model is established, and then, a transient stability criterion and a transient stability analysis approach based on second-order nonuniform Kuramoto model are proposed. Different from traditional direct methods, our method organically relates topological structure connection strength and states of a power grid with the region of attraction of the system's stable equilibrium point. Therefore, we can fast determine the transient stability situation of a disturbed system by means of calculating its relevant network parameters.
