Ivory Coast-Over US$457000 invested to train 70 pivot irrigation operators

The sugar producer Sucrivoire in partnership with the Vocational Training Development Fund (FDFP) and the Performance Management Support Firm (IPCE) were jointly involved in a project to train the company's 70 employees in the operation of pivot irrigation system , according to the local press reports.This project planned to last 8 months will be carriedout in two phases, according to Adjo Toussaint, director of IPCE Partners - 3 months will be theoretical and 5 months practical. Technical content comprises energy, electromechanics and maintenance of the production system.
