摘要

This paper proposes a new approach for solving generation scheduling and ramp rate constrained unit commitment (GSRCUC) considering spinning reserve uncertainty. In order to handle reserve uncertainty the estimated probability that spinning reserve might be called and delivered is taken into account. A combinatorial genetic algorithm and lambda iteration method is applied to solve such problem. The proposed methodology is implemented to a 10-unit base problem and a 26-unit IEEE reliability test system. The performance of GSRCU model associated with the impact of spinning reserve requirement (SRR) probability is studied in this paper. Numerical results show a significant improvement in the solutions of a cost-based unit commitment in comparison with the other studies.
