Characterization of an 6/4 Double Rotor Switched Reluctance Machine Using Fourier Series Approach

摘要

The analytical representation of the flux linkage characteristics of a Double Rotor Switched Reluctance Machine is presented. The building of the model using most of the conventional method is heavy time-consuming as it requires numerous data of flux-linkage-current and flux linkage- position data. However, the flux linkage can be represented by a limited number of Fourier terms whose coefficient are determined by the flux linkage value at different positions of the machines. The non-linear relationship between the flux linkage and the phase current can be extracted as a mathematical function from the characteristics. The accuracy of the proposed model is verified with different values that are derived from the finite-element analysis (FEA). This method allows a simpler approach with high computational efficiency and can be extended for use in all types of saturating machines.
