摘要

In this paper, an interval type-2 fuzzy logic controller based; power system stabilizer (IT2 FPSS) is designed. The input signals to the controller are considered as speed deviation & acceleration and voltage as an output signal. The performance of IT2 FPSS is evaluated on a four-machine ten-bus power system. The location of the IT2 FPSS is determined using participation factor method. The graphical performance with IT2 FPSS is compared to the performance of these power systems without PSS & with type-1 fuzzy logic controller based PSS (FPSS). The above performances are evaluated in terms of ITAE & ISE. The response with IT2 FPSS is better to its counterparts as above.
