Latin American Logistics (ALL), Brazil, is to increase capital spending this year by 45% to Reais 1 billion ($US 540 million). "Last year we grew, we hired people, and we invested around Reais 690 million," says ALL's CEO Mr Bernardo Hees. "There aren't a lot of companies that can say that about 2009."rnBrazil has fared much better during the global economic recession than most countries, being one of the last to dip into recession and one of the first to emerge from it. ALL recorded a 17% increase in Ebitda in the first quarter of this year to Reais 295.6 million.
