RFF signs PPP with Synerail

French Rail Network (RFF) has agreed a €1 billion public-private partnership (PPP) with Synerail for installation of GSM-R on its 14,000km network. The contract, which includes construction and operation for the next 15 years, will be allocated progressively until 2015 and will replace the network's existing 35 separate radio systems.
