Green Cargo optimistic despite 2009 deficit

Green Cargo, Sweden, reported a loss of €21.5 million in 2009 with overall volumes down by 24%. The company, however, says a streamlining processrnimplemented in the second half of the year enabled it to achieve a profit and good cash flow for the final six months of 2009. This has led Green Cargo to predict that it will havernreduced its costs by more than €58 million by 2012.
