SWITZERLAND'S second-largest operator BLS carried 67.7 million passengers on its rail and bus services in 2019,1.7 million more than in 2018, the company's annual results show. Revenue for the passenger division increased from SFr 546m ($US 562.4m) in 2018 to SFr 552.6m in 2019, while the infrastructure division's revenue rose from SFr 390.3m to SFr 412.4m. Freight division revenue grew from SFr 229.6m to SFr 285.6m, real estate division revenue was steady at SFr 2.6m, and other revenue decreased from SFr 73.1m to SFr 65.5m.
