Testing begins on Buenos Aires line

TEST running started on September 13 on a new 5.6km elevated section of the Belgrano South commuter line in Buenos Aires which includes a new high-level station at Saenz. The elevated line will replace eight busy level crossings in the Argentine capital which the Ministry of Transport says will benefit up to 400,000 people per day comprising rail and bus passengers, motorists and pedestrians by elirrvinating delays of up to 22 minutes per hour.
