摘要

Autonomous renewable energy systems often suffer from power interruptions due to instantaneous imbalances between the power being generated by the system generators and the power being consumed by the loads on the system. Load control aftempts to minimise the number of power interruptions by matching the power demand of loads to that of the power generation. Load control has been used in autonomous systems on Fair Isle and Foula in the UK. Although these load control systems improve the reliability of power supplies, there is room for further improvement.
