The modernisation of a marine environmental monitoring network

The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany (BSH) is running a marine environmental monitoring network (MARNET) in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. The network, which is monitoring the seas' condition based on hydrographic, meteorological and biogeochemical parameters, is currently undergoing modernisation.
