Icelandic marine research instrument manufacturer Star-Oddi has announced that it has appointed Planet Ocean Ltd or Surrey, England, as its approved distributor in the UK and Ireland. Aberdeen, UK-based Tritech International Ltd, part of Halma Group plc, has announced the acquisition of Beverley, UK-based SRD (Sonar Research & Development Ltd). SRD specialises in the design, development and manufacture of multibeam systems for use within the oil and gas industry and other subsea applications.
