Bowtech Products, UK, was presented with the Global Export Award at the Subsea UK 2012 Business Awards Dinner in Aberdeen, Scotland, on Wednesday, 8 February.rnCollecting the award, sponsored by Scottish Enterprise, Steve Bowring, managing director of Bowtech, said: "Bowtech began 22 years ago as a net importer and has changed the business emphasis and now designs and manufactures its own products. By implementing an on-going aggressive strategic export plan, and with support from Scottish Enterprise, Scottish Development International and UKTI, the company is currently exporting over 70 percent of its turnover and has doubled its turnover and staff in the last five years as a result.
