摘要

Coda Octopus, UK, reports the receipt of a follow-on sub-contract award from the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State, USA, a tenured US Department of Defense-designated University Affiliated Research Center, as part of a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) programme. The award is for the development of a prototype real-time 3D head-up display solution for divers, coined the 3D HUD system. The system will feature both realtime 3D sonar imaging hardware and realtime 3D augmented visualisation software by Coda Octopus.
