摘要

Numerical simulation of particle flow is one of the most efficient methods to study project at present. Numerical simulation of partical flow models the movement and interaction of circular particles by the distinct element method. Particle flow includes three research domains: theory, experiment and numerical simulation. Based on principle of discrete element method, finite different method and finite element method, the article compares PFC~(2D/3D), FLAC~(3D)and ANSYS to reveal their differences and similarities. This article gives a brief account of its application progress, points out the significance for civil engineering. At last, its application prospect is discussed.
