摘要

Welcome to the second issue of the International Journal for Technology in Mathematics Education, 2021. This issue contains four papers.Melih Turgut and Paul Drijvers report their analysis of a student, Ela, an undergraduate linear algebra student enrolled in a mathematics teacher education programme in Turkey, focusing on what instrumental schemes are developed when solving systems of linear equations with parameters using dynamic geometry software. By closely analysing Ela's problem solving process, her written output and recordings from screen-recorder software in task-based interviews, they identified parameter scheme, combined algebra and geometry scheme, the intersection of figures scheme and echelon form scheme in a context of linear algebra with dynamic geometry software. I believe this is one of the first studies to illustrate complex developmental processes in learning linear algebra with dynamic geometry software, and I am hopeful that more research studies will be undertaken to enrich our understanding of such complex processes.
