Postmodernism and the Ethics of Theological Knowledge

In this monograph written for the Ashgate New Critical Thinking in Religion, Theology and Biblical Studies series, Justin Thacker argues for a radical integration of Christian theology, or the knowledge of God, and ethical practice. At the conclusion of this rigorously argued work the author writes: 'That which enables us to know God is also that which causes us to love the Other' (p. 127). The knowledge of God and Christian behaviour are bound together, and indissolubly so.
