摘要

In this paper, a new cybernetic model for material handling and equipment set-up in one-of-a-kind production (OKP) and the relevant concepts are proposed. This type of control system and the concepts ensure the flexibility and robustness of the control system in case of frequent changes of production system configuration in OKP. To test the system structure and concepts proposed in this paper, a test bed has been established at the CIM Laboratory, Department of Production, Aalborg University, Denmark. The implementation of a prototype of control system is also presented.
