摘要

Currently, the indoor localisation based on active RFID technologies is becoming a hot research field in pervasive computing. The LANDMARC approach is the first feasible algorithm using active radio frequency identification (RFID) reference tags with approving results, although it suffers from many drawbacks. The VIRE approach improves it by means of virtual reference tags, but it is not perfect yet. On studying them in detail, an optimised algorithm is proposed in this paper to overcome some shortcomings in LANDMARC and VIRE. In order to achieve the aim, the simulation of the virtual reference tag is improved and a novel error correction model is established in this paper. In addition, the triangular mesh model is employed to deploy the RFID devices for the pursuit of higher localisation accuracy. It is indicated in the simulation experiments that the proposed algorithm is effective and accurate. Compared with the LANDMARC and VIRE, the localisation precision of the proposed algorithm is significantly increased.
