摘要

An electrical power generation planning system requires a continuous decision process for the coordination of all its individual elements and the interrelated components. Its aim is to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity through the efficient application of generators, generation pricing, and regulatory system. However, the complexity of electrical power system and the presence of a large number of conflicting goals and objectives postulated by various groups emphasize the need for a decision support system (DSS) approach in this Held. In this article an integrated DSS for an electrical power generation planning system is presented and its main components are analysed and discussed. Development of the proposed DSS incorporates feedback from practicing engineers of state electricity boards of the country. In particular, attention is focused on data base and model base, which are composed of the following relevant tools: power system load forecasting and generation planning module, resource optimization modelling and simulation module, power system control and evaluation process module, central blackboard, and multicriteria futuristic decision process module. The proposed support system is a highly integrated decision-making system based on multicriteria futuristic decision analysis.
