摘要

A general model that combines the effect of controllable reflectivity resulting from semi-periodic gratings with the transfer function of a single ring resonator add/drop filter is derived. An optimization approach based on minimizing the least squared error is performed to calculate parameters that increase the crosstalk suppression bandwidth of a rough-walled ring resonator. The resulting design has a 28-GHz crosstalk suppression bandwidth. Copyright (c) 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
