摘要

Natural disasters exhibit their wide impact on electrical systems leading to power failures of weeks together. Suppressing these impacts to restore power is a challenge. Many researchers provided various strategies to restore power using Distributed Energy Resources (DERs). DERs can be of any accessible sources like Renewable energy sources, diesel generators and capacity gadgets (batteries or power devices), and so on. Then again, as the vast majority of the DERs give power as direct current, low voltage DC for distribution systems is widely admired. In this paper, an attempt is made to restore power in the aftermath of disasters based on intentional islanding in smart architecture. The base system chosen in this work is an IEEE recommended practice system for interconnecting DERs.
