We could be heading for a data leakage explosion, according to Wick Hill Group chairman, Ian Kilpatrick, if companies don't address the issues and secure their increasingly vulnerable data environments. Kilpatrick was speaking 4 March as the company announced it had become a distributor for security solutions vendor, Becrypt. "Data leakage is a bigger potential problem now than ever before," said Kilpatrick. "This is down to the ever-growing amounts of data and the increasing diversity of network infrastructures, which now encompass smartphones, tablets, virtual servers, cloud computing, wireless computing, social networking and remote working.
