Editorial Preface

摘要

The ICDM 2010 workshop on Biological Data Mining and its Applications in Healthcare (BioDM, http://www 1 .i2r.a-star.edu.sg/~xlli/ BioDM.html) has garnered great response from the researchers and received a total of 50 paper submissions, out of which 17 (34%) were selected for presentation at the workshop. Given the great response from the community, we have invited the authors of 8 of the 17 accepted papers to submit extended journal versions to IJKDB.
