摘要

Explicit two-state time dependent probabilities along with some interesting particular cases are obtained for a queueing system where the server serves the units in the queue intermittently, when the queue length is greater than zero and if the server after finishing the service in hand finds the queue empty, he goes away for a vacation. The service time and vacation time are assumed to follow the general distribution whereas the availability time is exponentially distributed. Arriving units are in Pois-son stream.
