摘要

In [1], we presented ballistic and target material data for ogive-nose, steel projectiles that perforated aluminum plates. This study also presented an analytical model based on cylindrical cavity-expansion theory that predicted accurately the ballistic-limit and residual velocities for 6061-T651 and AA 5083-H116 aluminum target plates. The aluminum target material was modeled as rate-independent with power-law hardening.
