Owner's engineer appointed for Nam Kong 3

Poyry is providing owner's engineering services for the 54 MW Nam Kong 3 hydropower plant in the province of Attapue, in southeastern Laos, on behalf of local investor group Chaleun Sekong Energy Company (CSE). The project, which is expected to be completed by May 2020, will involve the design and construction of a 60 m-high RCC dam, a gated spillway, plunge pool, headrace tunnel, powerhouse, tailrace channel and switchyard, as well as the erection of a new transmission line.
