DIVE Turbinen GmbH & Co KG, which has so far specialized in low head applications, has developed a new turbine type for medium head applications, which is already under discussion for several hydropower projects in Chile and the Andean region. The prototype and test operation is in southern France, where DIVE's partner for control systems, 2EI Industries, has realized the first project with this new turbine type.
