摘要

Pt nanoparticles decorated TiO_2 nanotubes (Pt/TiO_2NTs) modified electrode has been successfully synthesized by depositing Pt in TiO_2NTs, which were prepared by anodization of the Ti foil. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and electrochemical methods were adopted to characterize their structures and properties. The Pt/TiO_2NTs electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity toward methanol oxidation reaction (MOR) in alkaline electrolyte without UV irradiation.
