摘要

The aim of this paper is to investigate the turbulent mass transfer in channels, tubes and annuli for fully developed hydrodynamic conditions and for developing diffusional boundary layer at large Schmidt numbers. Three transfer zones are detected: one corresponding to the leading edge of mass transfer surface for which the Leveque solution is valid, the second far from the entrance where a constant diffusional boundary layer is obtained and the MacAdams equation can be applied ,and the third is comprised between the two aforementioned zones. An expression of the mass transfer coefficients is proposed for the intermediate zone.
