摘要

Hybrid gas-liquid electrical discharge for degradation of phenol was investigated. The removal rate increased with decreasing the phenol initial concentration and adding some catalysts, such as Fe~(2+), Fe~(3+)and H_2O_2. Augmenting the particle diameter of activated alumina or exchanging headings as padding would lead to the reduction of the removal rate of phenol. Local discharge promoted the phenol degradation in the thin water film. And the space-time distribution of gas-liquid phases was more uniform and the contact areas of activated species generated from the discharge and the pollutant molecules were much wider due to the effect of the activated alumina bed.
