摘要

An integrated traffic and air quality modelling approach was used to assess the impacts of local abatement measures to study compliance with European Union (EU) air quality limit values for NO_2 and PM_(10). The abatement measures included four scenarios: municipal traffic management, toll ring or road pricing, cleaner transport technology as part of an environmental zone, and maximum effect - a combination of the most effective measures. The study showed that obtained traffic reductions were moderate, and could not ensure compliance for NO_2 in 2010 whereas the cleaner technology scenario reduces compliance problems significantly. Few compliance problems are expected for PM_(10).
