GENDER AND ENERGY IN THE PACIFIC

摘要

This paper is designed to fortify propagation of information on 'gender and energy' issues in the Pacific. The specific objective of this paper is to review the most important resources on gender and/or women and energy relating to the Pacific region. The series of resources on gender and energy in the Pacific is limited. Most of the resources used in this paper are reports of conferences, projects, surveys, policies and papers on energy that make reference to women in the Pacific and these are somehow linked to gender-livelihoods-empowerment, capacity building and community-based energy projects and programme.
