摘要

Heat and mass transfer along a vertical plate under the combined buoyancy force effects of thermal and species diffusion, in the presence of the magnetic field is investigated. The boundary layer equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations. The solution is dependent on the major parameters, Prandtl number, Schmidt number, magnetic parameter and the relative buoyancy force effect between species and thermal diffusion. Numerical results are presented. The maximum value of velocity, the local wall shear stress, local Nusselt number and local Sherwood number are found for different values of magnetic parameters.
