摘要

A criterion of creep buckling based on singular points of the deformation process is suggested. The theory of transient creep with power law strain hardening is examined. A moment of the history of the deformation process is said to be a singular point if the initial value of speed, acceleration or some time-derivative of deflection corresponds to infinity of deflection at this moment. It is shown that the problem of singular points reduces to an eigenvalue problem. The first point of the sequence coincides with the Rabotnov and Shesterikov criterion.
