摘要

In this article, we present the design and simulation of a W-band extended interaction oscillator (EIO) with a coupled cavity. A theoretical method based on electron-disc model combined numerical calculation with cold cavity electromagnetic simulation has been used in parameters regulation. When the voltage is 33 kV and the current is 0.106 A, the theoretical results show that the designed EIO could generate 220 W in 107.9 GHz, while 190 W in 107.93 GHz were obtained from the PIC simulation.
