M/G/∞/N TRAFFIC MODEL OF CDMA NETWORKS USING ADAPTIVE ANTENNAS

摘要

In this paper, a system which improves the total capacity of a CDMA mobile network by employing an adaptive antenna composed of N array elements is presented. The proposed system is based on a simplified model for the outage probability of the network and on considering adaptive antennas in uplink CDMA cellular networks. The obtained results showed that adaptive antennas will significantly improve the capacity of the network and hence improve the maximum number of users that a cell can serve.
