Experimental and numerical analysis of the coupling mechanism of HF antenna located on shipboard

Abstract. In this paper, the coupling analysis of HF antennas mounted on a ship is presented. The method of Moments (MoM)nis used to calculate the inter antenna coupling in 1.6–30 MHz frequency range. Numerical results with MoM are performed andnthe reliability of these methods is discussed according to the measurement results. The coupling measurements were acquirednon 1:50 scale model of the shipboard.
