Synthesis and Characterization of Nanocomposite Powders Composed of Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles and Wollastonite Nanowires

摘要

In the present study, the hydroxyapatite/wollastonite [Ca_(10)(PO_4)_6(OH)_2/CaSiO_3, HAp/CS] nanocomposite powders with different weight ratio were synthesized by a two-step chemical precipitation method under the aid of hydrothermal treatment. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, field-emission transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. The results showed that the powders were composed of particle-like HAp and wire-like CS powders. The diameter of the HAp and CS were about 30-100 and 20-80 nm, respectively. The length of the CS nanowires was up to several micrometers.
