This issue is my last issue as editor, after more than 22 years. Nick Moore very graciously invited me to be co-editor of the journal, which was then published by Academic Press, later bought by Elsevier. I started working with Nick with volume 22, number 2, the June 1990 issue. Beginning with volume 25, number 1, March 1993, I took over as editor. My name back in 1990 was Toni Carbo Bearman, and I dropped the Bearman in 1995 when I was divorced.
