摘要

Volume 45 of International Information and Library Review marks the final volume of the journal that will be published by Elsevier before it moves onto its new home at Taylor and Francis and so it feels only fitting to briefly look over its illustrious history in this, the final issue of the year.International Information and Library Review originally began publication in 1969 as International Library Review, then under the auspices of Academic Press before changing to its current title in 1992. Originally edited by George Chandler until 1991, then briefly by Nick Moore and Toni Carbo before Toni took over the reigns as the sole Editor in 1995, the journal has published contributions from a wide variety of illustrious organisations including the United Nations, UNESCO, IFLA, and INTAMEL.
