Turkey and Iraq move closer to gas

The visit of Turkish Prime Minister Tayip Erdogan to Baghdad has raised the promise Iraqi gas being transited via Turkey to Europe, but serious questions remain unanswered with regard to transit and supply. Turkey and Iraq have moved closer to realising the long mooted export of Iraqi gas to Europe via Turkey, thanks to the visit to Baghdad by Turkey's prime minister, Tayip Erdogan.
