UAE well proves Shuaiba gas field

The UAE's RAK Petroleum tested gas at the Hamrat Duru 4 well on Oman's Block 30, flowing at 19 million cubic feet/day and proving the existence of gas in the Shuaiba reservoir. It was the first time that reservoir was tested. At other reservoirs - Natih A, Natih C and Natih D - flow rates exceeded expectations.
