GDF suez hogged the limelight on a busy issuance day on Monday after it printed the biggest corporate Green bond to date, a €2.5bn dual-tranche deal. The transaction was also GDF's inaugural deal in the format and attracted a total book of €7.5bn from 520 investors following a pan-European roadshow conducted last week. "This looks like a fantastic result," noted one banker away from the trade. "It looks flat to fair value for the long tranche and that the issuer has paid 2bp on the shorter one at the point of pricing." The deals were trading 3bp tighter for the six-year and 5bp tighter for the 12-year by Tuesday afternoon.
