LBO market braced for January rush

European leveraged loan bankers and investors are preparing for a multi-billion euro deal rush at the start of 2016, wary of the threat posed by turmoil in the US markets spilling across the Atlantic. Haif a dozen large loans totalling more than €3bn are set to be launched to the market in January, including buyout deals for Luxembourg-based high-tech insulation firm armacell, UK forensics testing company lcc, French call centre operator webhelp, Dutch lingerie retailer hunkemoller, Spanish theme park operator parques reunidos and UK petrol station owner euro garages.
