Moody's says 86% of ABS and RMBS notes outstanding in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Ireland are now rated Single A or higher after its recent raising of the uplift over government bond ratings to six notches. At present, 44% of peripheral bonds are rated at the maximum achievable credit ratings.
