Morgan Stanley returns to sell Vine Oil loans

Morgan Stanley is looking to sell portions of a US$500m loan slated to back exploration and production company vine oil & gas's purchase of natural gas fields from Royal Dutch Shell, after declining debt values of energy companies made it challenging to place the facility with investors in December. Despite an improvement in February, slumping oil prices since August have made it difficult to access financing and entice investors to participate in their credits. Names such as atlas energy, C&J energy services and abaco energy technologies also faced difficulties accessing the market in November and December leading to pulled deals and higher yields.
